Will it pay for itself?
Only your own numbers can answer that, which is why the first report is free. Upload a sales or inventory export and the Profit X-Ray shows the cash tied up in aged stock and the items priced above what they sell for. If the top five on each list are not worth $79 a month to you, stay on Free.

Billing questions
Is the free plan really free?
Yes. No card, no trial clock. Free keeps your dashboard and Profit X-Ray current with every upload and shows the top 5 items to sell off and to mark down. Pay only when you want the full lists and the tools behind them.
How does the trial work?
Starter and Pro start with a 14-day free trial. A card is taken at checkout and first charged when the trial ends; cancel before day 14 and nothing is charged.
What does paying yearly save?
Two months. Starter is $79 a month or $790 a year (saving $158); Pro is $149 a month or $1,490 a year (saving $298).
Can I cancel?
Any time, from Settings → Manage billing. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and you keep access until then. We do not refund partial periods, except where the law requires it.
Do I have to change my POS?
No. PawnCounter is not a point-of-sale system. It reads the exports your POS already makes (and the police-reporting file you may already produce) and hands back the numbers. Your POS keeps doing the tickets, the reporting and the register.
Which plan should a gun shop pick?
Pro, if you take guns in trade: it adds the used-gun desk (trade-in quotes from what the same model sold for in your shop, used against new margin) and the offer calculator. Starter covers everything about the floor: markdowns, sell-offs, and margin by category, brand and buyer.
