What PawnCounter adds

Pawn Wizard describes itself as purpose-built for small to mid-sized pawn businesses, running on Windows. That is the shop PawnCounter is built for too: one to a few stores, a POS that works, and years of sales history nobody has had time to dig through.

Keep running Pawn Wizard. Export your police-reporting file and a sales or inventory report, and PawnCounter shows aged stock ranked by cash tied up, markdown prices taken from what sold, and margin by category and buyer.

• A markdown list: items priced above what the same thing actually sold for in your shop, with a price that sold.
• A sell-off list: aged stock ranked by the cash it has tied up.
• Margin, sell-through and days to sale by category, brand and the buyer who wrote the ticket.
• Redemption and forfeiture by category, where your files carry loans.

What to send

• Tickets: your LeadsOnline (or other police-reporting) export.
• Sales and inventory: an inventory or sales report exported to CSV.

How to find it

We have not yet worked with a Pawn Wizard shop directly, so we will not guess at menu names. Two files cover almost everything:

First, the police-reporting file your system already produces for LeadsOnline, if your area requires reporting.

Second, any report you can export to CSV that lists items with a description, category, cost, asking price and dates in and out. Our reader works out the columns itself.

Pawn Wizard shops are exactly who we want to hear from. If the export is hard to find, email us and we will find it with you.

Files and privacy

We accept .csv, .xml, .dbf or .txt, up to 50 MB per file.

Your files may include customer names, ID numbers, dates of birth, addresses and phone numbers. Those fields are hashed before any analysis — we analyze items and dollars, never people. See the Privacy Policy.

PawnCounter only reads a copy of an export. It does not change anything in Pawn Wizard and does not file police reports for you.
